Sen. Cruz wants the National Park Service to explain their response to pro-Hamas riots and vandalism

Many thanks to Senator Ted Cruz for his efforts to fix this dangerous situation. We greatly appreciate his support for the safety of visitors, U.S. Park Police (USPP) officers, NPS employees, and our nation’s priceless natural and cultural resources. In the DC Metropolitan Area, there are only about 350 USPP Officers. This is far fewer officers than other agencies in Washington, DC. The USPP has fewer officers now than in 1975!
